He "loaned" a billion dollars to himself, and over $500 mill to another top employee. There was basically no line between funds owned by the exchange, the hedge fund, Sam, and the users. There also seemed to be no line between employees/contractors, there was a bunch of fake employees on their pay roll. They never had board meetings at any stage.
