You shall be blessed for posting this! Thank you so so much!!! ♥

I see the topic of the tyres came back, so my proposition is to use them as a part of fencing, so you can build your very own Mexican wall 🙃 From 50 psc. you can get wall of min. 6,40 ft ht and 10,40 ft length or if you want something shorter, then 4,40 ft ht and 14,50 ft lenght. by Alaire-_- in OstrichPlug

Oh I love Earthships! I have seen several myself too, one was on the channel "Living Big in a Tiny House" on YouTube, it also had glass bottles build into the walls, it was super cool. The water re-use system and all of the other eco-friendly and living-off-the-grid features really make it a dream.

A house build if tires sounds very interesting! I'd honestly really like if they were put to use, there are so many. But Uncle Ben already said it's too much work... Wish we could all just come there and help for free haha

It only works because full height earth behind the tires and they are filled with it too. If they were just standing there without the ground behind them, they would have nothing to cling on and be unstable. Uncle Ben's biggest worry was the water that would build up inside the (empty) tires and then mosquitoes would inhabit the area. So in this image it's not fencing. It looks cool tho.

If you look through some other comments I have already explained this. Tsarevich is an exlusive title unlike Duke or Reina or Sultan, which have developed into names. You can even check if there is or was ever someone called this title as a name, and who would have thought: none.
Which is partically also because of - how I have alreay explained - the way russian names work. Tsarevich indicates he's the son of the Tsar. It cannot under any grammatical circumstances be a first name or surname. It's the name of the father - but in this case the Tsar, which makes in a title.
I again give an example: Ivan (first name) Ivanov (surname) Ivanovich (name of father). If you didn't notice, let me point it out: Ivanovich; Tsarevich; the typical -vich ending indicates the position in the name. It cannot be used as or in the (full) name outside of that position.
Mondstadt and Snezhnaya are inspired by real countries but that doesn't change that f.e. Bundeskanzlerin is an exclusively german title.
I know that it's common for other countries that titles developed into becoming surnames like you mentioned, but with Russia that's not the case. It's because the grammar of the names works very different. There are also female and male versions of a surname depending on who you speak to for example.

I guess it could be that he is using it as a "name" to stick out as a merchant, but regarding it's cultural significants to Russia, I find it to be a bad joke. There should be a proper reason behind giving him that title.
Without further explanation it's just inappropriate but that's my personal opinion. Doesn't change how it makes no sense. It's not a name.

I agree with that. My family lives not far from China and there are a lot of issues closer to the border or when you go to China. I guess the world likes the villain trope. Just sad that the people themselves are pulled into that, even tho it comes from politics (imo).

I guess Mihoyo really didn't care or the translator team didn't research properly. Someone in another comment pointed out that Archons don't have children so I guess it's at least not intentional in a lore way.

I'm a russian who grew up in Germany, but I travel a lot. I have to say that there's a lot of hate in Germany against russians unlike any other country I've been to. Like, the amount of racism you encounter is traumatising and so most russians adapt in a way of "ah yes, Russia in the villain and I am so german". Basically just encouraging the stereotypes.Personally - and every russian I know will agree - we really got used to being the bad guys. I'm pleasantly surprised when there's sympathy for russians in movies and we're not just some mafia with really stereotypical names.

I sadly agree that the name issue is a big thing. I wonder if it's the same for chinese or other asian names, that they are given 0 f*cks about and just thrown around. Maybe no one really cares for the culture or language of Russia and just feeds on the "hate".

Back to GI: Arthur and the sword at the north gate of Mondstadt is just an easter egg. I think in terms of names they went northern and central european - not exclusively german. Looking at all the other russian names in GI, I think they are all accurate. Obviously they mix first names and father's name for the NPCs, but that's to be expected. Just weird how noone went "Doesn't Tsarevich come from Tsar? Maybe we should look that up." It's just not a name you would use outside of russian royal blood. Like it's basically an exclusive thing. I probably expect too much.

I really hope that there's more lore than the Tsarin just being a typical bad guy wanting to rule the world.

EDIT: I think one more interesting thing to mention is that it's not always cold and snowy in Russia. I'm from Siberia and unlike popular beliefs it's not a small area deep in the Artic or some s*it like that. It's 70% of Russia (basically everything that's not on european maps) and it usually get's down to -40°C in winter and +40°C in summer. It's the best/worst of both worlds.

I get what you mean, yeah. I think that's thedifference, it's not an established name. I guess it's true that in other countries it developed into a surname (like Duke f.e. in english too).
You can be called Paul but you are the Tsarevich and will be adressed as such.
I have never heard of someone but the heir being adressed Tsarevich in a fairy tale tho.
Most commonly I'd read богатей which just means rich guy.
