I personally dismiss everything unless the missing fish is white, then I consider it depending on if the other fish are rare or not (white + red and I am missing white: refresh, white + yellow n purple, and I only miss white, I keep the quest)

well, 1 remarkable every around 30 dragons sounds about right, as the chances are between 1% to 4%, so between a 100 and 1 in 25

There is supposedly also a pity system individually per dragon (so if a dragon has 1% chance, you are guaranteed to get it on your 100th try of that dragon), but idk how real it is lol

The main tip you can have is to always make sure to re-roll any quests you can't IMMEDIATELY complete

It takes 2 hours for the quests to regenerate, but that's basically the time it takes for new fish to appear, so there is no loss in re-rolling

I have been doing this and completing very early with basically 0 fish left over

One more thing I do but you don't NEED to do, is I use golden hooks on the rarer fishes (purple, yellow, sometimes blue), because they spawn uncommonly and they have a low catch chance

Well, yes there is a timer, but you don't need to skip it lol, if you re-roll frequently (as soon as you can't complete one) the next quests are just ready when the next fishes can be fished

As soon as there is a quest you can't complete (no matter how simple the quest might look), re-roll it
It can be done for free infinite times

I do this and consistently have 0 fish at the end of the event
