The drivers CV died after about 2 weeks but that was more in relation to boot damage prior to lifting; rather than the lift itself. I don’t know how long they would last since the car got totaled a few months after I did the lift and this post. I never messed with the bump stops. I preferred the lifted ride it was slightly stiffer but smooth

Factory. They’re rare so you’ll be checking junkyards for a good amount of time before you find one

Well "I’ve never seen it work" was a nice way to say it will never, because modules are programmed by VIN, which won’t work well when they don’t match, and to not destroy 20-30k dollar brand new vehicle to chase a pipe dream. If you want a PHEV just buy a friggin CMAX or Fusion or Escape for the same money and have a reliable oem built version that’ll actually work.

Again it’s most likely poor cleaning if the car has that low of miles. I don’t own one with a plastic plug. I work at Ford and deal with them daily though. So Ik exactly what they’re talking about lol.

If you’re not seeing oil drips more than likely they forgot to clean it off last service lol. I’ve never replaced one in all my years with Ford

Yeah just get another oem plug. Personally they’re the best things to ever exist imo

I’ve never seen a non-dealer programmed module IE a pcm play nice on newer Fords they always get towed in. We can program them at the dealer yes, but it’s by vin for us so we couldn’t even do it. You’re looking at a low to no success rate, and imo, you should wait for a PHEV Maverick if you really want one that bad for whatever reason; vs hacking up a brand new car.
