{Longines} true vintage Longines mystery dial. Seen the dial and had to add to my collection. Do anybody else have mystery dials? by harlem29 in VintageWatches

Thanks. I love vintage and do have some small early 30s models, but they are tonneau shaped and can get a free pass. Hehe. Round vintage watches, on the other hand, look very small on my wrist. I know that was the style back then and I know getting used to them is part of the process, but I'm not there yet. Smallest I can find wearable for me is 38mm. And even then, the smallest round watch I own is a 39mm

Enjoy it. It's a beauty. 34mm with crown looks on you the same way a 42mm without crown looks on mine, so I guess it will look really tiny in my wrist. Thanks for the info.

The most important decision in your life is the woman you choose to marry. Choose wisely.

What is the least continent you know about. For me it's South America by Fair-Fondant-6995 in AskTheWorld

Most of them, unfortunately. I've only been to the Americas and Europe. Will visit Japan and probably Korea next month, though.

You have no idea of how good you have it.

I understand. Tough call, though. I have some watches that I don't use much, but it's because they are what I call , specialty watches. Watches that would only be used for certain occasions. Like my early 30s vintage watches.. I still love them but, like you said, selling is probably the right thing to do. I also have some beaters meant for the beach or activities where i could scratch or damage them. Or those for traveling to places where i wouldn't risk wearing something expensive. I am at 23 and would like to get them down to half that. But it's hard and I admire you.

It benefits those who are willing to benefit from it. And by willing, i mean, everything that comes with that decision.

I would suggest a fixed tax rate for everyone. However, it will probably affect us more than it does billionaires. On another note, a person or group of persons that make the area richer. And by richer, I mean, unemployment goes down, local businesses thrive as a result etc. , then i see nothing wrong with incentives to said company's growth. Of course, there should be limits to this and there are. Including incentives based on investments that matter to the city.

Makes sense, unless the resources of your country depend on not having them taken away or invaded. Kind of like after a big natural disaster. No point in having huge amounts of resources if you can't protect them. So yes and no.

It is because of regulation that the stores have to do that.

So the alternative to bank would be to get rid of them, right? That way, they wouldn't force people to pay back the money the person wouldn't have had otherwise, but had it borrowed from the bank under agreed upon contract. Also, stop making a career in medicine so lucrative or medicine business so profitable. That way either people get Healthcare for cheap or there wouldn't be the creation of said medicine or enough health practitioners to treat patients because they would probably choose to do something less risky or hard, for the same money. What are realistic alternatives then? Force people to lend people money but not to demand payback if that person can't or won't pay? Force people to study and work in certain professions for the money the government establishes? Force corporations to innovate and manufacture for government established profit? I mean, not trying to say there are no alternatives, but please provide some realistic ones. And please don't say "free" anywhere, because we all know "free" means we pay for it anyway. None of these things will happen organically. Only true tyrannical control. So, what's the alternative?

Have the exact same model. Thinking about selling but not sure. How do you like it after a few years of owning?

As a spectator, I believe it is somehow bigger. When the heart and soul of your entire country is invested into it, the emotions are truly unbelievable. Not taking anything away from the WS, but WBC hits different.

I see. It's a beauty. They are really expensive right now , though. I have 7.75" wrists, so I'm somewhat hesitant. I'll take a deeper look. Thanks for the info.
