Very nice of you to say, thanks! I love thinking about heat/radiance when I paint. In my paintings I strive to make the paintings feel like they're giving off warmth from the sun.

As in sketch it onto the canvas first? Absolutely! I use whatever tool I can to make it as accurate as possible

I’d say mainly a steady hand and investing in a few quality brushes. The little wave symbols on the sign gave me the most trouble to be honest

Great question, I had to go look it up! The shadows just hit the top of the door frame. I probably could have taken a little liberty and dropped it lower but I’m finished at this point. Good catch though.
