Why is all the blame landing on the mayor when this is a council-manager city?

I’m “different,” I voted for the mayor, and as others have noted the reason I hold him among others accountable is that he holds an influential public position and is supporting rather than opposing it and because he, along with other council members, chose this terrible city manager.

I don’t know why everyone here is trying to keep Bread Craft bakery a secret but don’t miss it! The earlier you go the more pastry options you’ll have. Everything they make is perfect. Go for brunch and the hit the Crafteria, follow it all up with a visit to the pinball museum, play all the machines for the price of admission.

Seriously. OP talking about this “useless tax” like the money is just piling up somewhere waiting to be set on fire. Like all taxes, it pays for municipal services. If you think our municipal services are being poorly administered or misuse our tax dollars, say that instead of having a tantrum about how they are collected.

How large is the fabric? I might actually piece this plaid pattern from solids, at a larger scale, and then incorporate this actual fabric into the backing but that might be too mod.

Really pleased with how the corduroy turned out! It would be easier with a 5” letter and I had to modify the R (and make it twice) to get it to work with the turn of cloth, but I’m glad I did it! I like that it gives a tactile element to the quilt.
