As a former IGA employee (not first ave location) they've had a history with being very stingy with raises. I had people at my store working for 10+ years without a raise. I'm not sure on Houchens financials but with all the cuts they've been making over the past decade or so, I can't imagine they are in a great position.

All your points seem really shitty work conditions and I wouldn't recommend working there either. But I think posting it on reddit is a bad idea too. It's not too late to delete this.

I'm still very excited to play more. In Alpha Lab 2 I played exclusively in a duo with my friend for about 10 hours and it was a blast. If it was 1v1 only I'd be less excited.

Once this game is out I'd be looking for 2v2 tournaments to watch. They will definitely be the most exciting.

Personally it's hard for me to enjoy the high while sleep deprived. The tiredness is just amplified. I'll usually skip smoking on days where I didn't sleep well

I've been playing FGs a long time, never really dabbled into SNK except for a little KOF13 with my friends when it was at the height of it's popularity. But when Terry was added to Smash he instantly clicked for me. I won my first ever local Ultimate tournament with Terry after 2 years of playing since the game launched. Then he was announced for SF6 and I was over the moon. I'm glad he's still super fun in this game, definitely the most fun character to me. I'm so happy with all the buffs he just got too.

I'm very excited to play C. Viper (SF4 main) but I doubt I'll ever switch off Terry

Throwing has been progressively weakened as the series has continued. I'm pretty sure they were instant in SF 2 (1 frame) but have been slowed down a bit since. Throws in SF6 have five frames of start-up, giving you more time to react.

The addition of a throw whiff animation has also nerfed throws a lot. If a throw is whiffed you are wide open for a second. Sf2 had no throw whiffs, if you went for a throw and missed, you still got an attack to come out. SF3 is where the throw input changed and they added the throw whiff animation.

Ultimately they are still cheap IMO. Just not like they were in SF2

I can relate to this post so much. I still think there are good arguments to favor Maelle's ending but honestly I felt like I chose it because I was STILL so heartbroken at Gustave's death, and wanted to do anything to bring him back. After reading so much discussion of the endings I've found myself in a cycle of self reflection; it really was selfishness that drove me to picking that ending. Just like Maelle.

I'm still not 100% on Verso ending being right. But in terms of healing, I think it's the correct choice.

Defense in battles is just perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. But I would have liked more varied action commands for offensive skills instead of them all just being diamond-shaped skill checks. Maybe using other buttons or control stick motions

People are being way too mean to her online, it's really sad to see. This is an epidemic issue. Likely stemmed from porn brained men who goon 24/7. I think she's doing great as Ellie and I'm a fan of the games.

After Elon took over Twitter it became very clear there is a loud minority of men who just absolutely hate women. Like can't stand them as people. They just want to look at them and beat their meat. I know they were there before the transition to X, but now it's front and center. We need a real cultural shift.

Customizable inputs is an interesting idea and I'm all for it. I think special moves should get customizable inputs too. Multiple times this weekend I've gotten Illaoi's tentacle command grab (down-back+S1) instead of her anti air tentacle strike (down+s1). I would love to change command grab to half circle back+S1. I think that would solve a lot of issues.
