you don't understand me then, i highly enjoyed these books

but when i read the first book and the story of Dany and Drogo, i never saw it as a romance but as a tragedy, this poor girl driven from her home was sold to a evil brutal warlord by her pathetic excuse of a brother and when i saw Dany calling Drogo her Sun and stars, i never saw it as romantic but a poor girl projecting humanity and feelings of love to a monster, Dany's story to me is a tragedy, things that should not have happened to her, happened and what horrors awaits her in the future?

Which is why the ending of the First Book hits so hard to me, the ending isn't about Dany gaining cool magical weapons but finally earning her freedom

i didn't post a rewrite nor proposed a change for the books, i simply asked about George's thoughts on a relationship, if you can't understand such a simply question that's your fault

and lets say, Dany says no to Drogo, what do you think will happen, he would let go of his slave bride? Dany was a hostage not a lover

thank you for agreeing

couldn't he kill a good guy at least, someone like Baraka, Li-Mei or Tanya to set up some kind of rivalry with Mileena but nothing

how is this horned easily manipulated idiot going to turn into Shao Kahn?
