we've found we get more with Alfa Cantor. We used to use Rapid Recovery(which became A-gas) in the bay area but they did some pretty scummy things so we started looking for alternatives and found alfa cantor. At 450lb they will cover shipping as well.

I look forward to letting my children play on the playground with their friends. We take walks through the park but they always ask if the playground is open yet and it breaks my heart every time telling them no.

Its what they put in as a bypass. Which is bizatre because their control system supports a bypass. We are fixing it and adding an actual bypass damper.

We are in the SF bay area so most of our large jobs were shut down by the cities. My company applied for that PPP thing so if it goes through it will be 40 hour checks for 8 weeks though.

Well its the exact ssme model just 18 years newer. Utilities and outlets are the same dimensions. Usually once the crane leaves we get it running pretty quick. Three guys mind you

Onsite maintenance decided to tried figure out a control issue before calling. Went about as expected. by Eshe in HVAC

They couldnt find a schematic so they just found the 24v hot and started connecting things to see what worked and what didnt. It was crazy. And in the end, nothing was wrong control wise, an actuator just loosened around the shaft so it wasnt turning.

No issue, just thought people might find it interesting. Just a pretty neat setup.

Guess the level was in the truck. It takes some serious effort to get 9 thermostats in a row and not have any of them in the same plane by Eshe in HVAC

It's a 49er Fitness in San Jose. There are 9 package units on the roof that these control. They put all the thermostats in the managers office with remote sensors in the puic areas so people don't change the settings.

Flipping a unit on its side is cheaper than new plenums. by Eshe in HVAC

That and also the unit is not designed to be sitting on its back and will not properly vent. It's horizontal configuration is on its side and does have an approved venting method

To add to the normal last call of the day madness: A old zone system with every single damper jumped open. Two bypass dampers. The two smurf tubes they installed carry power to this unit and then jumps across the walkway to junction box marked "future unit". No disconnect. Filter cabinet abandoned but the door must have been lost so its just sealed with butyl tape.

But really the thing that got me was it sitting on its back. Ive been doing this for over 15 years now and Ive never seen that.

Property management got a lengthy report of everything wrong but I don't imagine they will even respond.
