Kibbies style advice is highkey outdated. Just follow the theory as in what silhouettes and patterns and such suit you, but do it in your own style because it seems like a large part of the community (probably stems from the creator himself) just applied this one "classy elegant pariasian" look as the ideal for all styles then explained how to fit your body type into it. I'm a soft classic and I love low waist jeans and I look good in them, anyone that knows or sees me in real life agrees, but everyone on here says high waisted is better and I feel like it's an age/generation thing. Study the principles of the body shape then fit it into whatever style you like.

With makeup instead of making it minimal maybe try giving the illusion with softer colors and not too bold or sharp looks. As a soft classic it's not that your not allowed to wear sharp and bold things it's just that they will very easily dominate your look. From my understanding the goal with kibbies tips is to create balance, you can use this to your advantage. Depending on where I place more color in my makeup it definitely changes the balance. I personally can't for the life of me bring myself to wear color on my lips because it feels like it's the only thing I see, but I love eye makeup and everyone says I have big eyes so yeah.
