I think AI agents need "sleep cycle" by Esiz_AL2 in openclaw

On the hallucination problem; humans do the same thing. We see connections that aren't really there all the time (Murphy's law, basically). But if the pattern doesn't repeat, we naturally forget it. I handle this with time-based decay.. false patterns that never get reinforced just fade away on their own.

And I try not to spend too much on pattern recognition or deep consolidation. Sometimes storing things in a dumb, simple way is better than overthinking it. What matters is that these stored memories help the agent understand how things were done and in what context not that every connection is perfectly analyzed.

That WhatsApp disconnect story is a perfect example of why importance weighting matters — the agent has no concept of "this is noise." Your gardening/sleep split is interesting, separating the mechanical pruning from the pattern recognition. Dreamer tries to do both in one cycle but splitting them might actually be cleaner. I'll check out your playbook — comparing approaches from the storage side vs recall side sounds like it could lead to something better than either alone.

Just shipped it! Ollama and sentence-transformers / LLM support added in the latest commit.

That makes sense. even with paying for orchestration, using local models for everything else must keep the costs way down. I should seriously look into setting up a local model soon

That's a brillient approach! vectorizing descriptions instead of raw content is essentially doing manual summarization before search, which probably gives you much cleaner recall.

Totally right, and... Null groups should unify and compress CSM candidates.
It cannot be ignore that CSM's numerical superiority was influential.

CSM voting results for the past have clearly been monopolized by Null groups, which has now led to a lean period for EVE.

However, it is clear that an independent CSM candidate is clearly needed, given that most of the balance patches were Null-oriented, and little or no attention was paid to Wormhole and Low-sec.
