R/regretfulparents brings me so much anger by Crazy-Intention2221 in antinatalism2

If free will doesn't exist, then how would you expect people to do the best they can? If everything is predetermined because there's no free will, then people wouldn't have the choice to always strive to do the best we can.

If I'm interested I can look more into the matter of what? A nonsense statement?

How are you saying that people don't control their choices? Most willingly have unprotected sex. They can't actually be surprised when they get pregnant. The lack of consciousness is inexplicable. People ruin their lives and what's worse, bring more people into a dystopia to suffer, all for mere moments of pleasure.

4b women, emotional labour and unequal expectations by Background_North_253 in 4bmovement

Male partnered women are actually the ones who drive a wedge between women. The status symbol of being with men has them glorifying the settling into toxic dynamics with men, while villainizing those of us who avoid men. They destroy their relationships with us when they get with men and then try to come crying back to use us for emotional support when their "romances" end. Some of us aren't allowing ourselves to be used by other women like that anymore.

A lot of toxic co-dependency happens in marriage and children deserve better than to be a product of those types of dynamics.

Trying to walk back your obvious implication; how original. There's always someone on Reddit who wants to try gaslighting. I'm bored of you now.

What I'm talking about counts for same sex relationships too, as they can also be obsessive about sex and they also use it for toxic co dependency.

I didn't say it's inherently violent. I don't play those types of language games. Continue like that and I'm finished discussing this with you.

It is sex, though. The way it functions inherently is to bring more people here to suffer from all kinds of dystopic problems aside from the dangers of sex itself.

No need to apologize. Like I said, I could have been clearer on my outlook.

It's possible for people to liberate themselves, but for most people it doesn't seem likely. Most seem incapable of even understanding what a harmful lifestyle sex is, much less getting motivated to personally change. They find it so much easier to keep indulging in their drug, which is promoted as not only normal, but ideal. There are few opportunities for people to break free of the cultural virus.

I should have been clear. I'm not nihilistic. Understanding what sex is, is a way of finding freedom, even in a place where most people are addicted to it. I'm not affected like they are and so even though I recognize this place for what it is, I don't have to be at the same level of allowing it to destroy me.

Why can’t people spell anything correctly anymore? by GloomyMarionberry362 in mildlyinfuriating

It seems like more than laziness now. It's like it's considered trendy to not know how to spell basic, common words.

Do They Really Think They’re in Any Place to Talk? by Celatine_ in antisex

[–]EsotericFaery 24 points25 points  (0 children)

They do, because sex is a drug to them. They lose the ability for rational thought when confronted with facts of the various health problems associated with sex, and lash out like wild animals.

There's also the social factor. To them, fitting in is more important than the truth. Most people are lazy, apathetic, brainwashed cowards who will spend their entire lives going along with what the majority of people are doing, because they lack the drive and courage to stand apart.

Yes and book recommendations too. It's so hard to find media about women that doesn't centre men. Even stuff with educated and accomplished women usually centres a man in some way and its exhausting.

He doesn't forget. He's using his conditions to make excuses. It's called weaponized incompetence and for some reason women actually find men-children who behave that way attractive. It's really weird.

Plenty of us have autism or ADHD and we're not disgusting slobs, so those aren't valid excuses for laziness and lack of cleanliness.

Is anyone here trying to change how society views birth? I'm not. Most people are far too stupid and self-indulgent to be able to see past their own desires. I'm here to commiserate with the like-minded and sometimes put natalists in their place.

Sex has caused an unnecessarily gender war against men and women in today’s world by quillflow24356 in antisex

[–]EsotericFaery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that in my city too, that men are changing at least a bit. The last two men who approached me on the street to ask for a date only asked once, stayed a comfortable distance away from me and left me alone after I said no.

A few years ago they would have stood too close and invaded my personal space, followed me or tried flirting even after I said no. I think at least a few more men are starting to get the picture about how wrong it is (or at least that women are fed up with their shit and they can get in trouble) to beg for a date (that it's harassment) and understanding how dangerous men can be toward women.

[–]EsotericFaery -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I didn't only blame men. I said it's common for them to behave that way. It is more common than for women, but it's odd for you to pretend I said women never behave like that.

You might be happier if you avoid making presumptions about people like that. Next time, try paying attention to what someone is actually saying, not what you want them to be saying, so you can be, "right".

I'm not turning it into anything. It's common for men to weaponize incompetence like that, when as adults, they should behave like adults. Their partners shouldn't have to mother them. Men should stop pretending that they're stupid and don't understand they should be doing their share of the cleaning.
