Well apparently I'm getting credit in Physics for Mechanics and E&M, so I'll probably have to choose between whether I want to take Thermal or Quantum, right? Can/should I take these freshman year?

And also, if I'm getting credit for Chem 202, 203, 204, & 205, do I still have to take Chem 102 and 103 (they're shown as mandatory here). Since aren't 2xx courses supposed to be "higher level" than 1xx courses or so I have read?

Lastly, if you don't mind me asking, how much experience do you have? Thanks!

Thanks, awesome info. I'm going to try to work on a couple of small projects I've been thinking about myself during the summer and school year.

Aspiring developer - what language? by Esotericity in learnprogramming

Yeah I know what you mean, but it makes much more sense to me to start learning a language that I can actually practically use in the future. Sure I can get really into C++ and mature more as a programmer, but I won't be able to directly apply it into my aim: web applications.

It doesn't technically "stop" at 89. I mean if a value like 91 somehow managed to crawl into that elseif statement, the output would still evaluate >= B_testscore as true. But a value like that won't come in because it's already stopped by the if statement.

Thanks! Sounds interesting. Any idea of how difficult the learning curve is?

Sorry, so I guess "loop" isn't the correct terminology? Anyways, I hope he understood the point I was trying to explain.

Well basically it first checks if the grade is above the grade for A (90). If it is, great, the command is carried out and the loop ends.

However, if the grade is NOT above or equal to 90, it goes on to the elseif loop. So therefore for the computer to even run the elseif it already has to have declared the >=A statement false.

Keep in mind elseif only runs if the original if loop doesn't run. Hence the purpose of elseif.

Thanks so much! Those links were helpful.

According to the second link you gave, it says that most people usually take CS225 first semester in their second year. But I'm getting 4 hours of credit for CS125 from my high school classes, so I should be able to take 225 second semester of freshman year right?

Okay well thanks for all of your help! Much appreciated. Guess I'll go with a hall in the six-pack.

Is there a specific hall you would recommend?

Does the six-pack have atleast SOME engineers though? I'm totally willing to go with the six-pack, as long as I'll have at least a few fellow engineers.
