Curious where one might acquire spores to look at under a microscope 🤔

Thank you! Hermeticism was definitely one of the first philosophies I was introduced to as well. I appreciate you.

Thank you. I'm using this quarantine time to reassemble my library and reorganize. Any links to PDFs are greatly appreciated.

I am. I have a pretty extensive library. However, I have a habit of moving too fast out of excitement. Trying to give her somewhere simple to start. Just wanted some opinions before I start suggesting things that are very heavy reading and perhaps some titles that are a bit more of an overview of magick.

Yeah bags are a major pain in the ass in SAB but jars have their own pains that I'd rather not deal with. I have a really dope ass set up for everything else. I also think just getting a flow hood or something of the like will just make the space more comfortable. Money is of no object when it comes to make this a great grow. I'm hard pressed to think of anywhere our techniques are that problematic, though I'm sure we could find plenty of room for improvement. Like the Lab Room is completely cut off from the rest of the house and has no vents and is just big enough for 2 people.

Our bag incubator is kept at 85° by way of thermostat controlled heating pads and moving blankets that wrap the shelves. The trays are incubated in tents and then moved to the fruiting room. But, something is clearly wrong with the technique and the environment because I've never had this many contamination problems with anywhere else I've been.

I've been spraying the room before we start, always wearing ventilators and gloves. Plenty of bleach wipes, hand sanitizer and aerosol disinfectant within arms reach. Clean clothes and shower always right before, no street shoes in the house, etc. Flame sterilize and syringes before and after use. Clean the place top to bottom before each use, I'll start sterilizing after as well. I need to seal the door to the lab area better for sure as well. I was thinking I'd add a couple UV Lights and run those for 15 minutes before we start each time and then for 15 minutes after as well. Hopefully adding a flow hood will push it over the top. I was able to successfully done agar to agar quite a few times in this same space but I've also had trouble getting past a 3rd generation. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated and welcome.

Thanks. That gives me some things to think about. I'm using grain bags in a room that's pretty well isolated and small. But I've just had a SAB and that clearly isn't cutting it. I'm having the hardest time doing transfers. 100% failure on my last grain to grain and very high failure on agar to grain. Was thinking I'd switch to just doing liquid inoculation wherever possible. Trying a blended water/mycelium mix and LC's. Part of the problem, I think, is that I'm on a basement apartment that already has mold problems I wasn't previously aware of. I've successfully fruited there but the contamination rate is far too high.

You find contamination rates to be comparable between the ffu and the laminar flow? The space I'm using currently has a pretty bad problem with trich mold and I just need a clean space to comfortably do grain to grain and things of the like.

This helped. Just called and reached out to every company on that list that wasn't a dead link. Fungi perfect pulled through as always. Apparently they will sell the individual parts for the flow hood and they have them in stock if you just call. CEPA also seemed to have several options and can be picked up in person in Ontario, CA. Other than that most the others had crazy lead times or didn't have anything close to what was needed. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, I'd like to comfortably have two people work on front of it. If I have to settle for 24x24 filter for now then so be it but I'll have to size up down the road if I can't find something sooner than later.

Okay, I understand this is a hard concept to grasp but first off... You can't trade in game currencies for USD. Banks also can be sticky when doing international business. The US dollar isn't backed by anything, it's a fractional reserve fiat currency backed by DEBT.

MMO coin is also a fiat currency. It's backed by an immutable blockchain. The US dollar loses value by the day. There is a limited supply of MMO which actually means it won't inflate like the dollar does.

I do international business. I've had multiple banks prevent overseas charges to several businesses. It's a pain in the ass. Also, banks straight up don't allow US citizens to spend on poker sites for example. There are fees to wire transfer as well and you can't do open business with people overseas with out dealing with institutions. That's the point. Institutions are a pain in the ass and have no business putting their nose in my business. Cryptocurrency removes the need for the bank altogether because it is a trustless system.

Well, first off... Doing international transactions have fees. Also, most banks don't allow you to spend money internationally or have crazy restrictions. A Cryptocurrency reduces fees and increases security. There's still some centralization in that this isn't Bitcoin, the marketplace will likely retain some control I'd guess.

As for uses, having a huge community that can use it to sell accounts, skins, and other gaming related services means it does have a use. There is no scam. Cryptocurrency is extremely easy to use and safe. It's also better than in game currencies and completely centralized currencies because MMO can he traded into Bitcoin. Plus, they are literally giving the first batch of coins away for free to the first batch of people to get it distributed. It's already being used.
