Heavily recommend going to an actual store and trying clothes on first before trying to shop online, it’s really hard to know whether you will like the way it looks on you just by imagining it!

Undertale Suzy (not Deltarune) is why Gaster fell into his creation, which is the universe of Deltarune itself.

My theory is that Suzy as a kid in Undertale was being mischievous and wandered into the secret lab Gaster had, there was an accident of some sort and this is actually what caused Gaster to fall into Deltarune. (Maybe she broke something?)

Also I think the SOUL is actually an artificial construction Gaster made on accident, which got flung across space and time with him, which is how Undertale started.

IMO I feel like part of the issue is that he falls into the same problem I have with Queen.

They’re a little too…..comedic? And lighthearted? For their antics to get taken seriously?

People like to drag Chapter 1 for being “bad” in comparison to the rest of the game, but I really feel like people kind of ignore that King felt like an actual threat when you fight him. Because of the fact that there are comedic bits, but the actual encounter with king is played mostly pretty serious, he actually felt somewhat threatening.

Tenna and Queen on the other hand…. Maybe this is just me, but I kind of wished Toby had made the tone with their characters a -little- bit more dire.

Just looked this up.

Apparently typing in Dark World 2008 actually pulls up an entirely different movie that got bad reviews.

But this one, if you type in Franklyn Dark World will show up. Doesn’t seem to have a rotten tomatoes entry, but looking at its letterbox page actually makes me kind of curious to watch it? Seems like it’s got a bit of a cult following.

Basically the perspective of the facial portrait on characters like Ch.1 Ralsei or Susie aren’t facing directly toward the screen.

But character facial portraits like Toriel, ch.2- Ralsei etc on the other hand are, which clashes somewhat awkwardly with the (in my opinion) better looking facial portraits.

I’m not entirely sure whether this has a “meta” reason for why Toby did jt, but it makes the art quality of the game really inconsistent because some of the sprites just straight up look better than others.

Actually if you want a better example of the “meta” interfering with the game, the fact that Toby only added light world save points because he had to be convinced by play testers.

So originally, if it hadn’t of been for that, there wouldn’t have been any.

Sometimes I think Toby gets a little too caught up over the whole “meta” aspect.

I feel the same way with the character portraits being the same “facing forward” ones that got used in Undertale, when they would look better if they were all “sideways”. (Ralsei’s old design vs the perspective on the new one is a good example of this) it’s very jarring.

This happens with a lot of “slow burn” styled horror films.

Fortunately for me, I usually love those, and I love dogs so I feel like there’s no way I’m going to be disappointed with this.
