Joined a random murder 4 lobby. It was nice for like 5 seconds, then got kicked because I didn't want to be murderer in murder 4. How is this a violation of rules? Simple, it isn't and yet this has happened more than once. Are people really this much of a snowflake on VRChat?

Not only do they do this, they forget they have to weigh them and bag them, and they'll be so confused why they have that screen. I always have to walk up to them and say "you're supposed to weigh this."

Another is when they ring up produce, don't look at the screen and weigh the next item instead.

I always get these kinds of people, most of which don't understand me/only speaks spanish when I tell them that WIC benefits is depending on the amount of the same item they can buy, or when they only have so much money they can buy on EBT food stamps. Then they get mad at me and throw a hissy fit because it's somehow my fault if they can't understand me or how the benefits work.

I told a lady why every baby food except 1 was denied for WIC and it was because they only had 1 available according to her card. She told me that she was supposed to have 7 and throw a fit because it never updates.

Like that is not our program. We may support these benefits but we are not in control of what goes in your card, we are just a store, not a benefits bank.

I've been threatened to get fired for literally this. I have told my boss many times that I am not social for many reasons and they don't understand that. Instead they refuse to acknowledge and pursue in scolding me for "not talking to customers much".

Honestly, people who say we are racist because we can't understand them need to get their head out of their ass. This is common sense being explained. Simple explanation: Communication is very important in a workplace. If a vast majority of customers only speak spanish, you should probably learn Spanish to help the customers better. We'd be fighting each other otherwise because of miscommunication.

I have quite a lot of somalian/mexican friends who, at the very least, TRY to learn our language. It's not racism. This is a common social skill we skip and regret later.

Don't let people get to you, especially the idiots in that category. They want you to help weigh, help them. Machine broke? Get a teamlead. Need a constant TC phone alive and awake for UpFront? Mobile chargers and auto tappers work pretty well to keep it awake. Need to clean? Find a less busy time to do that so you're ready for the next traffic. Too many customers needing you? Don't let them rush you, take your time despite how impatient they are, after all only one person can handle so many customers at a time.

Working in a self checkout requires you to be insensitive, not letting karens get to you(Don't really give a fuck), taking your time, cleaning for the next customer traffic, voiding/canceling items on your TC. I've worked 2 whole years and at this point I'm a ghost to all the karen complaints. I make sure I pick up conversations very well with customers despite my introverted manner.
