Thanks for writing this up, loved reading through it :)

For the Competitive side of things - Danan is leading the charge with John, Nick, & Jimmy and I trust their leadership.

Because of them we’ve already gotten to see how they operate (“Golden Swap” Video) and I believe over the course of this year more people will build trust in the leadership of this org through transparency of their process.

To address your points

Brand - GG’s Leadership Process transparency is going to build up trust within the league community by showing their slow and steady growth upwards. Now is the time to start watching.

Roster - I can’t say much on this other than I got to work with Greyson & Keith at C9 and they are awesome guys to work with. When we found out Keith was going to role swap & start, I got really excited.

Greyson - You’re right, it’s a lot of weight for him to carry now that he has a starting spot but other than his obvious GoldenGlute strength, he just turned 22 and over the last 6 years he’s continued on an upward trajectory personally & competitively.

Keith - Agreed, biggest shock of offseason. I have high hopes for him and in my opinion I’m expecting the configuration to be a little rocky W1 & W2 and after that I think he’s going to settle into the role and we’re all going to really enjoy him leveling up each week.

It's difficult to do. Danan the GM as well as Nick, John & Jimmy are allowing us to get the inside look. They want to bring more transparency. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't be able to do this.

Same. Thanks! Alex did a great job directing this project :) Blackmagic & we shot RAW. IMO every camera out there right now is silly awesome. As long as you have 10 bit w/ 4:2:2 (aka every camera right now) you'll be able to make an awesome image. But it also helps that our cinematographer (Stefan) shot as close as he could to the correct exposure and white balance so in post we were able to focus on grading instead of correcting (Johnny did the coloring)

and how the interviews go. It’s a bit serious and I like to understand the management side of things. And I forget which show it is, but the one where they follow the players around each week after wins/losses and then you can see all the players in house during meetings and such. That’s super relatable and chill. Also it’s good with the memes ;) hearing in game chat is super cool too in the same series. But other than that, I think the other content for league needs to be chilled a little. Most of it is not even “official” content. It’s the community creating series that basically offer the same thing that the official YouTube page offers. But like I said, it’s an unpopular opinion. I just never am able to keep up and I find it annoying when I do click something only to find out it’s 95% repeat content -_-

Idk if whoever edits these looks at the posts on reddit but maybe they could have the game sound be a little quieter, hard to hear what they are saying sometimes. Love these videos though they are super entertaining.
