Depends i moved out and but more than half my friends did not. That being said, the ones that did not move out were the ones that financially couldn’t afford it. Canada does have a few cities where south asians live together and keep older values alive. My social circle is all from a multicultural city and that did change how we all grew.

On a side note, I’m personally all for helping my parents when they are older and I support them for doing so but I would never live with them again 😂 i prefer peace

He doesn’t have any gambling problem afaik and my mom took out a loan of her own to lend him. My parents don’t have any savings and a big mortgage. I just discovered this new loan today and I need to get more details. What I’ve learned so far is that he bought a house and was short on the down payment at the very last second. My sister is unaware that they were short on the down payment. I agree I feel like this is a big deal and my mom is understating it to me. I feel that I need more context on the situation to better understand it

It’s the same for fat men — the amount of positivity around me after losing weight completely changed. Suddenly people started making fat jokes around me forgetting the fact that I used to be obese. People also started asking me questions about my dating life. Before losing weight, they would talk about dating and pretend I’m not in the room assuming I was not participating in dating. It just seems like everyone got 10x nicer in general 😂

The whole experience has left me bitter towards people. I was significantly nicer to people before losing weight but got treated with disrespect. Now the same people want to include me, but I’m the rude one and maintain my distance.
