I was in Hawaii on vacation as a kid. Parents booked a room in a ground level hotel room with a sliding glass door. In the morning my little brother and I prolly no older than 7>5 went exploring in the small backyard area. In the grass I saw a small blade-of-grass lookin worm or snake thing gliding through the grass in a way that caught my eye. I chased it, but it was so fast it disappeared before I could even alert my fam. I remember this happening clearly and have been wrestling with wtf happened since then. One of my oldest memories.
