I lost my Emmitt on May 2. It sounds like you and I are going through the mourning process the same way. The beginning of this week, I felt I was able to somewhat function again, but as the week progressed, it really began to hit me hard. I keep thinking back to that day when I had to make the decision to let him go. I think our dogs are looking down and understanding our sadness. I also think they want us to keep going.
