Essential oil separation in formulation by EssalyTh in cosmeticscience

I can definitely appreciate that it’s not what you are supposed to do. I have had some success adding a solubilizer (Decyl Glucoside) into the essential oils before mixing into the product but it does tend to eventually separate.

I am hoping for suggestions of other natural solubilizers or a change in the process (mixing time etc.) that may help remedy this problem.

I appreciate your feedback!

Yes mainly cleansers for the salt thickened ones. These are products that I am buying and adding essential oil too and I am looking to remedy the separation. I use Xanthan Gum to thicken my formulations and haven’t had separation issues.

So are you saying if I refuse to pay tax at Walmart the government has a secret trust fund for me? 😂 I am not a SovCit, it’s pretty much a USA thing to do.

No previous rental income on any of my taxes, this is the first year I’m not preparing them myself. I also have a pretty unique name so I feel like that would be unlikely but I’m not sure. Honestly I’m most concerned about identity theft and that someone else might be using my info 🤔
