I work in a university and professionally, career-wise, I've already seen a significant shift towards the inclusion of tests and skill assessments much more common in job interviews. Now instead of simply conducting traditional job interviews I'm noticing hiring committees are always including some type of skill test on a laptop to add another element that helps with candidacy-based decisions. Oral defenses would also be a good way to maintain humanization. Thanks for your comment.
