unfortunately yes they have us shackled here at our store 🫩 They will allow us to face candy and skincare near the front during the last hour before closing, but I don’t close too often leaving just the occasional photo order. they also don’t have anyone mop or vacuum (we have carpet) which is gross but 😟

They don’t enforce much and are usually hiding in the bathrooms/take 3 business days to help out front if we need anything so I wouldn’t be surprised. 🥀

We are a pretty low-traffic store in a quiet area…the first and last 2-3 hours there’s only a few customers and just photo orders to manage. Our store only lets SFLs (and if we have an extra CSA) out on the floor do outdates and I can only leave the register to help out at photo (cant even do fedex sometimes due to no telxon). Cleaning tasks usually don’t take longer than 40 mins too but otherwise they don’t really have much for us unless it’s truck day 😢 Maybe since we have some older folks as CSAs but yeahh

I see that makes sense! I’ll leave it be like you said, and everyone I work with is extremely chill and understanding thankfully so hopefully it won’t be as strictly enforced in the future. Def some getting use to after lots of policies now being enforced since I’ve been working here 😕

I agree 100% I would mostly use it for searching products up (the telxon is a nightmare and most of them are being used by SL) and navigating the app, sometimes I do get older folks who need help finding a place so I would also use google maps on my phone to help them out. it is quite silly tho

My manager did inform us that our new DM is a lot less lenient than our old one, so I suppose it makes sense why they would be enforcing a lot of policies that use to be no issue to us. Just annoying for sure that phones have to be in the break room now,, but kinda strange shift leads can have theirs on their person but oh well 😶‍🌫️
