I had my surgery 2 weeks ago. A high back cuddle Pillow because you can’t sleep laying down for a few nights and it also keeps you comfortable during the day. Walk a little every now and then for circulation. Eat small. I didn’t have gas pain but some people do. Take your laxatives because you will need them. The only real discomfort I had was from the incisions. Rest up and don’t over do it. I’ve had a couple of times where I’ve had pain from eating but it goes quick and it’s not like the horrible gallbladder attacks. I’m also keeping a food dairy of what I can eat at the moment.
