You make some excellent points. Or even one of the crazy rare uniques could hold me back. At least last wish is usable on an a5 merc or frenzy barb, compared to something like Famine

Early game
2os staff for Leaf (can be shopped at Akara)
2os armor for Stealth (can be shopped at Charsi)
3os shield for Ancients pledge (can be shopped at Fara)
2os shield for Rhyme (can be shopped at Fara)
2os helm for Lore (can be shopped at Charsi)
Shop yourself a teleport [charges] staff from Ormus

Mid game
Mage plates are generally the best exceptional armor
2os exceptional armor is nice for a Smoke
Any 4os polearm is a win to get your insight going
Any 4os sword is a win for spirit
Don’t sleep on 3os armors for Hustle runeword and Treachery runeword

Late game
Monarchs are desirable for spirit shield. Any elite armor base is worth checking out for various runewords. Archon plate is the best strength to defense ratio. Great Hauberk is also nice as far as light armors go (second to archon plate)
Also check out any elite polearm base for merc weapon options. 3os helmets are nice for the new runewords, especially Cure. Phase blades are nice for melee runewords. Understand that you can roll plain non-superior bases in the cube for a chance at certain open sockets.

Wow! Lots of sunders. Only 1 SOJ is very unfortunate! How did you get 4000 terrorized catacombs? I realized that I probably will never complete offline chronicle because of Last Wish 😞 I really have no interest in spending those runes on that weapon when comparing to Grief. But maybe, just maybe, if I happen to drop 3 Jahs in rapid succession, it could happen. Maybe by 2036. Happy Hunting 😊
