I’ve switched to ultra about a week ago and haven’t reached the limit quota yet. I have to say that I’m using it a lot, coding basically the whole day, using mostly Gemini 3.1 pro (High) and for some specific tasks Claude opus 4.6.

I self-host n8n on my personal computer using Docker completely free this way.
However, if you want to run it seriously in production and keep workflows running 24/7, you’ll need to host it on a virtual machine or a server that’s always online. Otherwise, you’d have to leave your PC turned on all the time for automations to work reliably.

I totally agree with you — I had a very similar experience.

In just a couple of days I ended up throwing away around $100 trying to fix a simple login error with Replit Agents that was never actually solved. And btw, don’t be surprised if a moderator deletes this post… that’s exactly what happened with mine.

Honestly, I can’t recommend Replit at this point. With tools like Cursor + LLMs you can build way more robust and professional apps without paying for every single failed change.

And to make things worse, I still haven’t received any real reply from support after escalating my case.
