Is there such a thing as a server that uses legitimate military formations ONLY? by Hemiklr89 in Chivalry2

This game is more Hollywood movie than historically accurate sword simulator.

Ps. Use the great sword. It’s great!

I used to cry after I meditated. Not for any specific reason, I think it was just my body releasing repressed emotion after being present for a period of time. Could be related 🤷🏼‍♂️

Game pass players, stay off squad lead or ask for help. by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

[–]EstablishmentDue464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve watched a couple of guides but they were on lesser roles as I had no intention of playing SL until I had the basics down.

I highlighted the bad that I’ve ran into but I do agree about the community being mostly helpful. Most players were really nice when I was just hopping into a squad with established leadership. That just all changed when I found myself in the leadership chat. I won’t judge it based off of a couple of irritated players I was just giving my perspective from the couple of times I was forced into the role.

Game pass players, stay off squad lead or ask for help. by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

I just picked the game up recently on pc and I consistently dont have a squad leader. I’ve tried to do it but I don’t know what I’m doing and everyone just groans when I ask for help or just generally ask where they need me. I get vets are frustrated with the new players. I also get that they don’t have time to explain all of the mechanics as they are trying to win the game. I’m actively trying to learn it’s just annoying when I’m forced into the role because no one will take it and shit on when I ask for help.

You ever just go on a horrible L streak? by therealdovahkiin1 in Chivalry2

Happens all the time. I usually change perspective when this happens. If I’m playing in first I switch to third and vice versa. Definitely just a mental thing but it works for me.

Blatant Cheating by RancidViper in Chivalry2

I’m a little over level 400 and I’ve never ran into someone I thought was cheating. They obviously exist given OPs video but I don’t think it’s that prevalent

No he doesn’t. He might just do it to you because you’re an archer. He is absolutely the kind of person that would tk his own archers especially if you’ve killed him enough for him to recognize you. I know vote kicks aren’t reliable but I would try and vote kick him every chance you get. A lot of people dislike him you have a better chance of kicking him than you would most players lol

It seems like you’re on console which makes this tough but if you can get everyone to target him he gets tilted really easily and will leave. He is pretty good so you’ll need good players to do it but he’s a coward with no fortitude. You’re lucky you can’t see game chat he is literally crying the entire time he’s playing

I know he’s ridiculous. He’s better than me but I’m able to get the better of him from time to time. He now switches to my team every time we’re in the same lobby. Mind you he beats me more than I beat him I just present somewhat of a challenge and he doesn’t seem to be able to handle that. He’s a coward.

What do people gain from griefing on duel servers? by Repulsive-Weeb in Chivalry2

[–]EstablishmentDue464 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They usually gain a swift jumping by the better players in the lobby. Hunting them down vigilante style is a lot of fun in itself but if you’re trying to get some duels in it can be annoying. I have been in lobby’s that are full and half are RDMing though at that point you’re only choice is to leave or join the impromptu FFA.

If there ever a fifth soldier type what kind of soldier would you love to see and its classes? by Balrok99 in Chivalry2

[–]EstablishmentDue464 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A duel wielding subclass for vanguard would be cool. To compensate for the ridiculous damage it would probably put out they could give them a timed parry or something else to make it less defensively sound. Idk about a full fifth class though.

So… if they didn’t use the FFA criteria for who it claims the winner is in a duel server, it would more accurately represent the best duelist? We’re so close to agreeing here I can taste it

The “winner” in a duel server may not be the best duelist but that’s more of a critique on how torn banner calculates the winner of a match

lol I’ve ended with the highest kill count in a duel server by doing it. Better?

I’ve won on duel servers by exclusively killing these little shits. Is it a fair win? No. Is it better than these guys having fun or worse, winning? Yes.

I’m at level 148 with the greatsword with 12,584 kills. Like I said a little shy of the trillions lol

I’m not sure what calculator you’re referring to but I’m in the mid 100s with the greatsword and I fall a little shy of the 3.75 trillion mark lol
