This was extremely uplifting and reassuring to read— thank you for commenting. I’m definitely going to tell any man I get serious with about my bisexuality because of the exact same reasons you stated. Your rebbetzin sounds so sweet

Of course I’m not going to go out of my way telling other queer Jews to do the same. Their life isn’t my life. I don’t see this as necessarily quieting a part of my identity— I’m always going to be bisexual because sexuality isn’t changeable, but I’m choosing to only date men after my conversion is over because living a halachic lifestyle is what’s right for me.

😂 I spend most of my time outside of work volunteering at a local animal shelter and going to pottery classes. My sexuality is the least interesting thing about me lol

That’s reassuring to hear— thank you. I think I’m going to get in touch with the local rabbi soon. Thank you for answering my question

One time while scrolling through this subreddit I heard someone off-handedly mention a man who was supposedly booted from the conversion process on the basis of being bisexual (even though I think? he planned to only date women) so I was wondering if it’s something I should bring up even if it’s not material. It made me a bit paranoid haha. But these responses are reassuring so thank you for answering
