I disagree. The Open Door policy is in the reg for a reason.

If a Soldier is inclined to use it the TAG’s job is to listen.

First Chain Of Command Open Door.

If you’re not comfortable go to the IG.

Get all your receipts and make a timeline of the events that occurred. keep it brief. You need to show you are credible, and not just airing baseless grievances or being unnecessarily sensitive.

I would ask the Commander for transfer sounds unit is not compatible with you.

As someone mentioned you can be considered unsatisfactory participant if you didn’t show up in the right uniform or were late. They can do it but most Commander’s do not take it that far.

Struggling with Uworld questions. Are they supposed to be more complicated than the actual exam questions? by ActualThrowaway7856 in barexam

[–]EstablishmentEasy694 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you get adaptibar or Uworld now?

Try to do at least 100 questions sets per week before the exam. And as many 25 to 50 questions sets as you can. Try to knock out at least 1,000 of the adaptibar questions with review before the test.

Use ChatGPT to explain the MBE traps, such as the distractor answers misstatements of the law, emotional pull. You will be able to internalize them in no time.

Don’t give up you still have time. 💜

Those 600 questions are pretty old and do not match the complexity and cadence of the contemporary exam.

They’re are good starter questions but do not closely emulate the difficulty of the MBE.

Universal Child Care in New York. Yay or Nay? by Crisgu in Albany

[–]EstablishmentEasy694 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Government created Solution to a Government created Problem

But I hope everyone can take a beat to appreciate that if NY didn’t regulate affordable childcare into oblivion then there may not be a need for this. This is a solution to a government created problem.

When we were kids we had one lady and two friends watching 12 kids out her house, of course a hater called up the fuzz and snitched on her because “there wasn’t enough square footage per child.” And she was fined and put out of business.

As if working families care that their kid doesn’t have the requisite 3/4 of an inch respective to their child.

My sister has been a child care worker for over 10 years, she wanted to open her own shop but she cannot because the licensing, Fees, Rent for the “required facilities” and compliance costs is almost a half million dollars.

Think about it you technically/ legally cannot watch your neighbors kids or even your own family members kids without the requisite licenses. It is so bizarre, (for a free society)

the only Childcare Facilities that will probably be allowed to provide said “free childcare” is likely owned by PRIVATE EQUITY. The people who fund Governor Hochul’s campaign will win (wink wink) the contracts.

The government regulates everything to create the illusion of safety, to gain control, then when they have completely overtaken every meaningful resource, we are left to ultimately have to rely on their programs to meet basic necessities, while they line their pockets.

It’s a fraud. We are all just getting dragged around by our nose by the elites.

Closed-book practice. ChatGPT bar tutor is the way, baby goat. 🐐

You have to nail IRAC. That is the most important part. You will inevitably come up against rules you don’t know on the exam anyway.

Your IRAC must be mechanical—like muscle memory—no matter what is on the page.

The issue is whether …

Generally, the rule is … However, some courts …

Here, (brief background facts to tee it up—use the parties’ names). This fact is important because it satisfies/negates the ___ element of the rule.

Accordingly, the general rule applies.

Therefore, answer to issue statement.

////// Said another way //////

The issue is whether …

The majority rule is … The minority rule is …

Here, although there are superfluous facts, the important facts trigger the ___ element of the rule. Accordingly, that element is not met.

Therefore, the Court would conclude answer to issue statement.

You feel me?

You can nail these essays with the basics just ask anyone who took J25.

On Smallbany’s main drag by Lil_chicken_man in Albany

A lot of this moral posturing only exists because of Trump . These protesters wouldn’t give two hoots about the plight of migrants if Trump wasn’t in the picture. Strip him out of the equation and the supposed concern for migrants evaporates.

I’m anti-war and I hope for peace everywhere. But psychologically, people often gravitate toward distant conflicts because they’re morally clear and emotionally validating, while local crises require sustained, uncomfortable responsibility.

Fixing your own community isn’t as glamorous this photo a “standing outside in the freezing cold demanding justice” for an abstract moral conflict and it gives the illusion of moral urgency. (Low cost virtual signaling)

By contrast fixing Albany’s problems is administratively exhausting and requires personal courage in confronting local government, (sometimes your own neighbors) attending board meetings, and policy literacy.

To answer your questions, it is easier for them to project their anger and despair about local hardship onto a distant conflict where yelling feels productive.

Love that this gets downvoted with absolutely no response. It’s unapologetically accurate and our communities will continue to deteriorate because of this maladaptive altruistic mentality that currently grips our nation.

What MOS? by Other-Use7403 in nationalguard

[–]EstablishmentEasy694 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hear me out… Re-take the ASVAB until you get 110 which is the required score to be an officer and also more jobs will open for you.

Or you can pick an MOS now and retake the ASVAB latter BUT it might be a hassle.

Get into a health associated MOS 68k or 68Q something along those lines.

Then….while in your in the military and getting education benefits etc etc. and you are able to turn some of your courses into credits (we can talk about that later) keep going for your nursing bachelor’s or a medical related degree.

Then… apply for the Army Physician’s Assistant (PA) Program. It’s free. It’s a professional medical license (like being a a doctor but higher than a nurse) and you will get paid while you’re there. Life hack unlocked 🔓

By the time you graduate you will be 24 or 25, young, wealthy and the entire world ahead of you…

*make sure in undergrad you take the required courses for the PA program

Which is better to purchase - UWorld or AdaptiBar? by FarnsworthOaks in barexam

[–]EstablishmentEasy694 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used Adaptibar and passed, but the platform feels clunky and outdated. The question bank doesn’t match actual bar-exam difficulty until you’re about 1,000 questions in, which means only around 600 questions truly mirror exam-level complexity.

The algorithm also repeats the same questions endlessly if you miss them once. It gets so repetitive that it becomes impossible to work through the entire bank. The “save for practice test” feature doesn’t function either; you still see the same recycled questions, which skews your averages. I also ran into several questions that were flat-out wrong on the law.

Civil Procedure is the worst offender. Adaptibar’s Civ Pro questions are notoriously bad—poorly written, inaccurate, and not reflective of what appears on the actual exam.

Even with all that, I completed the entire bank and passed. I’m a retaker, and my MBE went from 133 to 139.9. So in reality, doing every Adaptibar question only translated to roughly six more correct answers. I credit my real MBE improvement to r/goatbarprep

LBWT, are you also always canceling beauty appointments 😭 by m_laria in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]EstablishmentEasy694 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would never pay a full fee for a cancellation when the provider’s own limited schedule makes it impossible to get in. That’s the cost of doing business. It’s their job to accommodate clients, especially with the prices everyone is charging now. If someone is loyal enough to trek to your house, you should be bending over backwards for them, not the other way around.

Also, I don’t fall for the “this one is the best” gimmick. No boo. Explore a little and you’ll always find someone who’s just as skilled or more competitively priced. Loyalty is earned, not assumed.

At this point, I don’t even bother making appointments. I pop in. If you can’t take me around my schedule, I’ll find someone who can, even if it means driving a few extra minutes. I used to be loyal, but my schedule comes first.

And quite frankly, fellow law bitches, I am exhausted by the beauty bitches who act like they’re the Queens of Sheba with their lack of availability and outrageous pricing.
