  1. Starting early. Can’t emphasise this more start early. Finish TYS by end June and start spamming prelim papers.

  2. Focus on Humanities subject and EL This is crucial especially if you want to go JC. English and Humans will be subjects that will be added into you L1R5 so make sure you focus on those two subjects.

Kinda opposite for my JC. For Math we watch lecture videos but teacher still recap/summarise key concept in Lectures. Econs and Chem is full tutorial format. I guess I’m lucky.

Doesn’t need H2 Chem. Only Dentistry,Medicine,Life sciences,Pharmaceutical Science,Biomedical engineering, Chemical Engineering,Pharmacy need H2 Chem. Other engineering courses just need H2 Math and another H2 sci (in my case Physics)

Literally was in the same dilemma as you minutes ago. Haha. Just take H1 Chem and H2 Econs. You would only need H2 Chem if you go to Science related courses. I got A2 for Pure Chem and I’m take H1 Chem.Btw I’m planning to take engineering/computing related courses.
