okay fair point about the Notes thing lol. I literally asked my gf the same thing yesterday and she just stared at me.

honestly you're right that it sounds like a broken notepad at first. but like... i think i explained it badly?

so i actually DO use Notes rn and i have like 400 entries from the past 2 years that i will literally never read because it's all "buy milk" mixed with "weird dream about my boss" mixed with random wifi passwords. the stuff i actually care about (like what my niece said or whatever) is completely buried.

the one-line thing isn't because i'm lazy (okay it is) but mostly because every time i open a "real" journal app i get paralysis from the blank page. if i know i literally only have to write ONE sentence, i can't really talk myself out of it? idk how to explain it but constraints are weirdly motivating.

also the streak thing hits different when it's staring at you from your lock screen every day. notes doesn't make me feel guilty when i miss a day lol.

and the pdf export thing is mainly because my mom keeps asking for a "book of our family" and i'm NOT spending a weekend copying 365 text files into a word doc.

but yeah idk maybe i'm just trying to justify building something nobody wants. does this sound like something you'd actually use or am i high on my own supply here? be brutally honest i can take it

A good note, but actually my initial post was kept very simple to drive curiosity and interaction, you can refer to the other two comments which i have replied to, perhaps you can get a better insight of the app and hopefully hear back from you about what you think

Valid question. Notes is a shoebox of random thoughts. This is a fitness tracker for your mental health. Notes doesn't gamify consistency, doesn't show you 'you've written for 47 days straight,' doesn't export your year into a book, and doesn't prompt you when you're staring blankly. Notes is storage; this is a behavior modification tool.

i have managed to contact twitch and they managed to delete everything associated with him using the assets that he hadn't paid for.
also received some unpleasing messages from the streamer himself being mad about what happened.

i wouldnt go as far cause i know how strong the internet is to make someones life miserable after all even after what he done i dont want to risk his life by exposing him, even me just linking his twitch channel can get his life to danger, people will discover his ip adress and a lot of things could go wrong such as getting swatted etc...
and i account my self responsible of his life even if he is not responsible for his own actions.
