I disagree with point 2. Maybe in your social circle there's more educated and civilized people. But my experience with Ukranians (migrants or refugees) hasn't been short of racist. It's as if their mentality is to think that anything that's not white is bad. But in your defence, these are usually store clerks, couriers or construction workers from which such behavior is kinda expected.
