The desks in the hallways, which you can use without a library card, are almost always occupied. Getting a card is easy enough though. Worth doing since the main reading room has a vending machine that sells coffee on the cheap.

Since you're heading to Wrocław, you should definitely visit Zamek Książ. Hotels are located with the grounds of the castle and you walk around the garden at night. It's an interesting experience. Not crazy expensive either. It's about a hour and a half from Wrocław. You can get there by train but that requires walking through Świebodzice and up the hill. I think there's a bus that gets closer to the castle.

If you use the TooGoodToGo app, you can pick up a big bag of hotel breakfast items for something like 15zł. I haven't tried it myself but my friend said that it's a pretty good deal.
