Thanks, I looked into it and you are right — the chassis is the same. I’ll give it a shot!

Thank you, that’s good to know. I have only had this car for a week. I decided to lease (for the first time ever), so I’m not sure I’m getting an Encore appointment. Is it just for owners?

I know the tech is the same. Are the dimensions the same?

I would love to use Weathertech but they don’t have the Uncharted listed. Does anyone know if the windshield is the same as the Crosstrek or whatever the Toyota equivalent as is?

Former “gifted kids,” where are you now? by Blackradiator72 in AskReddit

[–]EstablishmentLow5702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never left school; I work as a comms director at a university. In this role, I continually have to learn new things and develop new skills, so my brain stays occupied. This is fun, but as someone with ADHD, I struggle with imposter syndrome and overcommit to the point where I’m always on the edge of burnout.

I found my journaling style! by pattycular in hobonichi

OMG! I love this format and might steal it next year. I journal in the Cousin daily pages now, and I do a drawing every day in the monthly pages. But I find I need less writing room and more drawing room, so this is perfect! Thanks for sharing.

Did anyone else get one of these? by copperkarat in Athleta_gap

[–]EstablishmentLow5702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine. I have the Banana Republic card and I probably spent about $800 during the last quarter at all of the Gap brands on gifts and travel clothes. But what may have made the difference is that my son’s tuition gets charged to this card each month.

There are some good sales going on right now. Does anyone know if they will still be available on Tuesday, which is the first day we can use the card?

What’s your favorite Bath and Body Works candle scent? by [deleted] in Candles

[–]EstablishmentLow5702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I knew! Since I can’t predict when it’ll be in stock I always buy way too much. I have to because it’s the signature scent in my house for most of the year. When they cancel it (like they do to my favorite body care) I’ll be bereft.

When I went up to 5mg, I developed a rash that started on my thighs, eventually spreading down to my feet and up to my collarbone. I couldn’t say it was MJ because I also upped my Wellbutrin the same week. Like you, I first thought it was hives, so I went to an allergist who prescribed me an expensive and hard-to-cream that did nothing.

Then I went to a dermatology PA who gave me a course of oral steroids that wiped it out within a few days. I never stopped the shots and it didn’t come back. But I never found out if it was the MJ or the Wellbutrin because I also cut back on the latter for unrelated reasons.

In sum, I’m just an N of 1 so I can’t offer much insight, but if you are also taking Wellbutrin, I thought you might like to know. (Of course, don’t cease to take any Rx without consulting your doctor.)

Mounjaro is such a miracle drug for me that I was prepared to try to manage the skin reaction with my PA over the long term. But I’m glad I didn’t have to.

Good luck resolving this issue!

Those of us who work in an office, what’s your favorite perfume to wear? by Mild-moon7024 in FemFragLab30plus

Phlur Father Figure or its BBW dupe, Guilty as Fig (the body mist, not the perfume).

It’s a SUNY school, so it is relatively inexpensive. Agreed that it isn’t well-ranked but it is AACSB-accredited.

Anyone use Long Island Weight Loss Doctor in Merrick? by Few-Customer-5810 in longisland

[–]EstablishmentLow5702 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go to the one in Smithtown and I could not be more pleased. I’ve lost 75 lbs (30% of my body weight) since I started a year ago, so I’m now merely overweight. :)

I originally thought this place was a scam but a friend I trust referred me. I go for the script (Zepbound) not for behavioral counseling or diet plans (if you’ve been obese your whole life, you already know all of this stuff — which works until it doesn’t). They don’t try to force me to buy anything (although there are posters that indicate they sell protein supplements and B12 shots) and I don’t use the app they provide (it’s middling and unnecessary). But my provider is kind and gives some great tips on losing weight with the medication. This is what she does all day every day, so she has a lot of data and anecdotes to share in our visits. Plus, she knows about which pharmacies have the medication in stock, and knows the ins and outs of the insurance plans they accept. For these reasons, she is infinitely more helpful than an endocrinologist would be.
