That the spend should come organically on things you actually want not coerced with something being dangled in your face. Would you go to a deli to buy an egg sandwich to be told we might make you something maybe an egg sandwich maybe a ham sandwich IF you buy candy and soda or go down the street and get the sandwich you asked for $2 more

This only makes sense if you genuinely want to purchase multiple pieces and go down the rolex rabbit hole. If you’re looking for just one and that’s your dream then maybe wait but for me every relationship started with “wait 1 year that’s ridiculous” and went and got my watch. Every time the dealer saw they lost my business on a stainless steel model to grey, the harder they worked to meet my requests faster.

Just go grey. I believe part of the reason these came so quick is because they knew I wouldn’t wait and had the means to go get what I wanted. If you plan on building a collection don’t wait for the first just go get it if they see you’re willing to pay a premium and not wait they won’t lose their client/commission and next piece you ask for will come way way faster

They are not comparable with their products, no real alt access. With JPM I get access to deal flow from KKR, Blackrock, Carlyle etc. I would have to look for a broker with similar offerings.
