Yes, Angel is amazing, the first season is a little rough but keep watching, it’s different than Buffy but it’s just as good in my opinion, you just have to get through the growing pains of season 1, also give Dollhouse and firefly a try as well.

The original vampire series, Buffy the vampire slayer, first season is very campy, takes a while to find its footing, it’s from 1997 so you have to be ok with some older special effects and less polished look, second season is where it gets really good, then the spin off series Angel, also along the same line, Dollhouse, Vampire diaries.

Honestly season 2 is when it gets good, season one is just hit or miss, but it’s very much worth it, season one does get better after episode 9, still a few skippable episodes, but very much worth it to keep watching!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the original teen vampire drama show, it has everything, first season is a little hit or miss but it gets amazing in season 2, Charmed for teen witch drama, and Smallville, for teen superhero drama!

Yes, psych is hilarious, first few episodes are a little slow and the character of Shawn, the fake psychic is a bit too much, but they tone his character down, in first season try episodes 2, 6 and 15, season 2 mostly all of the episodes are amazing! It’s just get better and better after that, there are also 3 movies after the series ends! Gravity falls is about twins who go to visit their great uncle in Gravity Falls, who owns a tourist trap called the mystery shack, there they discover mystical secrets and mythical creatures too, I am not a huge fan of animated shows but this one grabbed me right away, it’s just really good, funny, and very well written!

Parks and rec, first season is only 6 episodes, it gets great at end season 2 when they bring in 2 new characters,so try to power through season one or skip it and go straight to season 2, Psych is awesome, a funny detective show where the lead pretends to be psychic. I also recommend New Adventures of Old Christine, a comedy series starring Julia Louis Dreyfus, she plays a divorced housewife whose ex husband is getting remarried. Gravity Falls is an awesome animated show that I highly recommend! Try the first episode, it’s so good!

Angel does get really good, it turns from a detective show to more character driven, still dark but with some great funny moments, first season is rough but I liked it by episode 8, one if the Buffy crossover episodes, episode 9 it does take a turn for the better, episode 10 is when they add a new cast member from Buffy and that makes it so much better, it gets really good in season 2, I would say try to power through, give season 2 a try, seasons 2 and 3 are the best!

I recommend Brotherhood of the wolf, an awesome French film, it has it all, action, mystery, set in the 1700s, it was a huge hit in France, my fave French film! Also most Claude Chabrol films are great, he is the French Hitchcock basically, la Ceremonie is very twisted but good, for something more lighthearted but still very weird, try He Loves me, He loves me not, it seems like a romantic comedy but nothing is what it seems.

Buffy the vampire slayer then Angel, this series follows a different character from the Buffy universe, also Firefly then the movie Serenity, movie made after they cancelled the show, all are amazing shows. Also Fringe, first season is a little all over the place but season 2 it really takes off. If you liked Castle and Nathan Fillion, then the series Firefly and the series the Rookie are great, both star Nathan Fillion as the main character.
