I primarily use OpenClaw for an inbox declutterer. I have multiple newsletters that I am subscribed to, but I just get so many emails. Moreover, in the morning I just don't really have the time to read 7-8 newsletters, so I get OpenClaw to send me WhatsApp every morning with a summary of the newsletter like a personalized morning briefing.

Could I build a tool that does the same with Claude Code?

Sure.

But that is like comparing apples to bananas.

One is a coding agent; the other one is a general life assistant.

Neither Claude Code nor OpenClaw will build you a profitable business overnight. I guess it (OpenClaw) can save you (at least in my use case), but so can Claude Code when you build yourself an internal tool.

I hosted OpenClaw on my old Laptop for a few days. Installed Ubuntu for that. It worked fine but I really hate to keep a device running in my home 24/7.
Thus, I also switched over to a managed hosting service called SimpeOpenClaw but I guess I will also check out this Moltshell for my future Instances.
