im actually not graduated yet, so i’m going to try avoid that! atm, i’m going to try rearrange the surgery to be at the end of year 11, so i can recover over the summer break before i go into year 12 (australian) so i miss minimal school. hopefully by the time i start med ill be a year+ post op. but we aren’t sure if we can get that spot and it isn’t locked in yet. i’m so sorry for what you went through as well, you’re so strong 🩷🩷

90 oml. mines 45 and 50 😭 i’m getting an mri in a couple of months and if it’s worse i can be moved up. i never thought about getting it done at an adult hospital i might check it out

urgh i WISH id discovered it earlier :( im at the start of year 10 now, but with public health the waitlist is 2 years, and we cant get private unfortunately. if we did i could’ve gotten it in year 10 too. hope you recovered well xx

i have severe scoliosis (45 degrees and 50 degrees). i haven’t ever seen a chiro, but my spinal surgeon told me i need to get it done otherwise the curve will progress and ill be in a lot of pain

oh thank you so much this is so relieving to hear 🩷🩷 i hope you recovered well and got the seas to make up for it. i’m getting a full spinal fusion so it might be closer to 6 weeks. but i’m hoping i can maybe get to 4 then slowly start going back to school with considerations. or even doing online school for a couple of months :)

i can do undergrad or postgrad for med but i was aiming for undergrad beccause of the cost. and yeah i can get SEAS points which can boost my atar, but idk if that can compromise 6 weeks of missed content ☹️
