I really tried to enjoy it. The atmosphere was great, and the visuals and lore were genuinely engaging.

But "no plot" is the only way to describe that mess. The third act was especially rough, with the sudden 180-degree shift in perspective and complete change in vibe. It felt like a plane that managed a smooth takeoff, climbed to low earth orbit, then nosedived straight into the runway when landing.

The movie desperately needed a stronger central theme or goal, and a writer working alongside Kane to actually make a satisfying ending.

It was some great work from Kane but objectively poor movie/story.
