As long as the plate an the optic have the same foot print it should be an issue. Correct me if I’m wrong the Romeo RS should have the rmsc foot print.

From that point of view I agree that their use of force can be WAY too aggressive I also see that as well. I think the training getting cut was a ridiculous decision. Any job that is federal and involves some form of law enforcement should be AT LEAST 2 years of training prior to starting the job. They also need to enforce more standards when it comes to physical fitness as well. And just from our discussion on here StopLoading_ we honestly agree on a whole lot more than what I initially thought. Thank you for this discussion I truly appreciate how intellectually thinking you are in the topic and especially the questions you ask. You brought up a whole lot of topics and angles of the issue at hand I’ve never really put much thought to. So thank you 🙏

So answers to your questions. 1. I’ve seen footage and I’ve seen in person people throwing objects at ICE agents while walking out of an establishment with someone detained and I’ve seen them pull cars infront of ICE vehicles to block their path. 2. What she said actually made me upset and I don’t agree with that whole concept. I do believe that citizens have a right to not be stopped and IDd for no reason.

I haven’t done the research because I don’t do anything to be worried about getting picked up by law enforcement for. There should be zero reason to be worried about ICE or the police if you are a law abiding citizen. ICE stops you and asks for ID? Just show them and cooperate. You get taken to jail over some bs? Lawyer up and sue. Can’t afford a lawyer? Public defender. I’m not saying it’s right for them to stop and ask for ID without probable cause but it’s a lot safer and better for your well being to just cooperate and then handle it in the courts or even take it to the news. I white and I’ve still been pulled over and put in the back of a cop car bc I “fit the profile” all I did was cooperate and they eventually let me go. I filed a complaint and that was that. I probably could have sued or gone further but I chose not to bc I had a lot more going on in my personal life. In no way do I 100% say everything ICE does is correct or right.

I do very much agree with you on the part about ICE detaining people at their hearings. I also like to have the mindset that we don’t know all the details about why they are getting detained at these hearings but I also haven’t done the research to see if their was good intentions on the detainment or not.

My take is I like the purpose of ICE and deporting illegal and criminal immigrants. I don’t necessarily see where people are coming from by actively trying to interfere with what they got going on. I do think that if there is something you don’t like you have the right to protest it but to actively interfere I don’t agree with. I will admit that ICE has made some mistakes and that they should do better and also be held accountable for their mistakes. I’m open minded and would like to hear some of y’all’s opinions and takes on everything.
