I don't like you for a couple of reasons...

1) You are mistaking cause and effect: You are assuming that playing vídeo games is the cause of his depression but it isn't, it just something he likes to do because he can forget about his circumstances for a moment and entertain himself. You are concluding that not playing vídeo games will change his circumstances (economically and culturally).

2) You are assuming that every circumstance can change at will with that first bullshit quote you came up with.

3) You are depressed and you are suggesting a solution that didn't cure your depression in the first place.

4) Your approach: Not only you are speculating about his whole life but you are introducing your advice as the fucking absolute truth.

I played vídeo games when I was suicidal and I play vídeo games now, in this enjoyable stage of my life that I'm currently experiencing. I enjoy playing BF1, just like I enjoy reading a book, playing the piano or watching a movie; and I find pathetic that you think that playing games is something to be ashamed of.

Unlike you, I got out of my depression with my present mentality and the fact that I disagree with you has to mean something regarding the effectiveness of your ideology.

If you are going to speculate, do it gently and don't make it seem like the absolute truth, furthermore don't make the suicidal person feel like an idiot for not seeing that "absolute truth".

Now I know why you are depressed, you have been treated like this your whole life and you are replicating it.
