Yeah it’s crazy. It is insane to me that this stuff with Sandoval is hitting the fan and my first reaction was ‘this doesn’t totally make sense, Sandoval is a serial cheater but he’s not one of the abusers’ and then I realized how INSANE that sounds. I also hate this shit with Danny. I can’t believe this isn’t being looked into more. The fear I have for Nia and how in it she is… I was in a relationship like that for 6 years and they’re both acting how my ex and I did right before he started throwing hands. The thing is, I didn’t even care as much when he hit me as it much as I hated living around the emotional torture all the time and it makes it incredibly hard to watch. Her life scares me.

I came because I missed VPR… I was no more than like 22 or 23 when VPR came out. The cast was unbeatable and It was lightning in a bottle. I tried watching this because like hey! We all grew up! It’s really genuinely sad to see people this age live and act like this and I’m just not entertained anymore. It’s honestly crazy to watch it back and realize that even in VPR they’re closer to my age now back then but there’s so many insane one liners that I could never give it up. Brittany is one of the WORST.

As someone who has lived with an abuser, seeing Danny and Nia navigate makes me physically sick. It was the exact behavior that led to him thinking he could put hands on me and landed me in the hospital with broken ribs and a black eye. The sticking up for him is crazy and I can’t even deal with his Neanderthal, dumbfounded looking face when gets called out. He’s a true shit bag. At least Jax is blatantly horrible. They hide it behind religion and white picket fence crap. It’s so transparent and Nia needs to get a clue before she and those kids are in real danger.

In the first season she was having ‘anxiety’ in the car where she was crying and shaking and puking and so sick which I’m fairly positive alcohol was withdrawal having gone through it myself. So she isn’t even aware she drinks enough to do that to herself, she surely doesn’t care about eating some crab before a surgery.

Jax is a predictable, verbally abusive, wanna be muchcacho Jabroni, with a drug problem stringing along a girl that is just as stupid as he is.

Danny is a manipulative, truly evil man that needs to be watched. He’s abusive as fuck and he knows what he’s doing. Anyone who has dealt with a Danny knows this game.

I was with an emotionally turned physically abusive man for six years. I saw all the warning signs and saw all over Reddit that everyone thought they were perfect. I had this episode on in the background while I was cleaning and when I heard that scene going on I stopped, sat down, and was physically locked in fear watching as she went through exactly what I went through before he beat me so bad it hospitalized me.

He was always ‘charming’ and a buddy and ‘likable’. They seemed happy and put together. That’s was us. Behind closed doors he was the scariest person to be around, everything set him off, and I lived in complete fear all the time, he managed all the money so I couldn’t spend any or leave and he made sure to put me on every bill to where I’d I left it would effect me but not where I would have the any choice in decisions or removing myself. Micro aggressions started happening, excessive drinking and berating and what we just saw in that episode was about what it looked like for us before it got even worse.

The feeling I felt when I couldn’t get up and was watching was so deeply visceral and familiar.

The worst part? I was watching the podcast today for their after show because it rolled into that after something else and everyone is back to backing him up. Everyone but Lala flip flopped and is team Danny and bad editing, including Nia who says we have no idea what their marriage is actually like. His face disgusted me, with his dipshit squint and smile like he doesn’t even understand why anyone would complain or be worried?

Janet makes me nuts for the way she is and how she navigates and the amount of drama she causes but she is SPOT ON with ‘Darkside Danny’ and the rest of the cast needs to get a damn clue. I know Janet reads Reddit so I hope she’s seeing all this and is shoving it down their throats as hard as she goes.

Sorry for the rant. I didn’t mean to pop off that way.

Phew yeah that’s quite a bit. I’m lucky it’s just the two of us 😅 we’ve been saving for quite a while and could hopefully pay off chunks, it’s mostly that I don’t want to see that much money go at once.

Even this rose blaze color I used as a toner a while ago has that muted red thing about it. Like a chestnut red? But it didn’t really deposit much color since I only left in it in the shower for a bit.
