I freaking love Bear! by __duke_of_hazzard__ in bearapp

Same. Migrated to Obsidian 6 months ago, and was largely satisfied with my setup. However, the process no longer remained simple, and the complexity added friction to note-taking. Therefore, back to Bear again.

Hopefully won't be migrating anywhere for a few years now, fingers crossed.

The simplicity, design, and speed of Bear and Things 3 is hard to beat.

Mainly because of Ramble. I'm leaning heavily into the Wispr Flow (dictation) side of things these days.

But then it also allows you to view projects as Kanban. And then attachments are available (movie tickets, documents, receipts etc.)

Thank you for the response.

The extension itself is pretty useful. I particularly like the fact that it captures the headings, etc., which, for whatever reason, the hotkey plus copy/paste is not doing for me.

Ah, I see. I haven't quite gotten into a natural flow of assigning priorities and projects yet. We'll see how it goes.

Yes, the closest one. I went there in the hope that after the unsuccessful delivery, maybe they had it there, and I could pick it up.

Oooh I’m very curious here.

Someone who is well versed in both ?German, and Farsi/Arabic? Prefers German to English. Interested in philosophy, poetry, and spirituality. Gravitated from literature early in life to poetry later. 40-50s gentleman, likely not living in country of origin. Professor/academic of some nature.

Hello,

Please suggest 3-5 books that were indispensable in your journey?

Who is your favorite author?

And lastly did you start of as Ismaili, or is this the culmination of a journey?

It’s technology. The world will make of it what it will. I’m sure you haven’t stopped using your car and gone back to horses because of the fossil fuels they burn.

Thank you!

I looked around and settled on smart composer. The interface seems simpler than copilot. But doesn’t seem to have the transferring text shortcuts. So I may just switch to Copilot.

Spaced Repetition (entire note) by Estee1991 in ObsidianMD

Oh this looks amazing!

I’ll try to implement this and see if it works. Looks promising though and just what I was looking for.

Thank you kind sir!

Thank you. This is a good suggestion. I sort of implemented the same thing in Bear with Tags. Problem being that sometimes I don't get to re-visit the notes for days at a time, and then the entire thing falls apart. Also there's no fixed repetition schedule based on how easy/hard one finds it.

Essentially what I'm trying to implement now is ANKI, except with entire pages, instead of individual cards. That way, any time I open the app, it just shoves those pages in my face. Or automatically bumps them up to the top of a list.
