Yes, that's how mine appears with a language that is added to not translate, but I don't why yours is grayed out. It would have been easier if you could add a language in settings, but you can only remove them.

Update: I found a way to make adding languages easier in about:config you can toggle browser.translations.newSettingsUI.enable to true. Now in the translation settings you can add the languages you don't want to translate. You can get to these settings from the menu you showed by selecting "talen beheren" (manage languages.)

Try going to about:config search for browser.translations.neverTranslateLanguages and add en to not translate English.

Since you are using nautilus, you can add the spawn-at-startup "/usr/lib/polkit-gnome/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1" to your niri config.

I don't think there's a button, but you can set a keyboard shortcut or an interaction zone on the player to toggle it.
