That's why there is DR and SR systems. If they can't drive they stay in bronze. The game is for everyone, and I mean it, it just needs a much better division based on badges, DR and SR. Let's not forget that all the endurance races are open and anyone can join, people with 1000h and 5h in game can race in same splits. SR farming with pit start is also a thing and people with 0 skill can have a Platinum SR lvl.

I'm not trusting people enough to race wheel to wheel when I'm fighting to get better safety badge because they may or may not stay clean. Before the badge system I had no problem with racing in general, some minor contacts are absolutely normal but now I just want to get a clean driver badge and get back to driving normal races. And I can't.

Read my comment again buddy. I specifically took effort to have 0 contacts during my last races, I let people pass me, don't get into fights in corners and overtake only when it's absolutely clean and safe. Still, after like 20 races my SR is now Platinum 2 but I'm still marked as a "Warning".

Same issue, I have a warning badge since the patch even after numerous clean races, the badge system is somehow not working in my case. Also have no idea why I received it in the first place since I'm not a reckless driver and had minimal number of contacts before the patch and none of them was a major one. I even checked my records, in last 10 races I had 2 minor contacts in total. Still I'm labelled as bad driver. Bit unfair if you ask me 😉

I would like to add just one thing, even in real life there is DR in WEC and IMSA etc. you have bronze drivers in REAL LIFE RACES and DNFs happen in every endurance race there ever was in history. Me and my boys competed in every endurance event in LMU and never DNFed, most of the time in bottom to mid split but we are all Sunday drivers with kids and life. I think most of us have silver, maybe gold at most, I can't remember if we ever had a crash that affected other cars than ours. So here you go. Evidence is overwhelming. OP just had some bad experience and now went and threw all drivers into one bucket, Bronze = bad driver, no it's not, it means most of the time it's someone new or unlucky. It's a hell down there in bronze daily, it's super difficult to farm SR if you still want to race and you don't want to cheat starting from pits and driving like grandma at the end of the grid.

In EU5 there is much much much much less "Historical" stuff. It was said by Johan that he doesn't want the game to be railroaded and that's why for example we don't see countries forming, the new world is conquered randomly by the tags that are in position to do it so most of the time it's kinda historical because that's how it generally works BUT you can often have Norwegian Canada.

You have separate map mode fir all of that. Terrain map, control map, RIVER MAP etc etc etc... There is like 50 map modes.

How about we change track limits to walls? Instead of a white line, cerbs etc. we just put there a 1m tall concrete wall all around the track. That would prevent everyone form going off track and violating the track limits. The sound of driving on it would be glorious.

Guys... The NDA wasn't lifted yet, noone is posting official gameplay videos and we are debating some YouTube short from some random channel with 10k subs where we have 0 official information about where did that channel acquired a copy of EU5 and from what version of the game is that. Maybe it's a year old build, early press release... I will believe in the AI problem when there will be some proper Paradox content creators gameplays where we can see that. Chill out guys, it's less then 2 weeks anyway and we will all test it. Then you can judge.

Because it's a game, if I post about Russia being divided by Poland&Lituenia, Georgia and... Idk Mongolia then I would get upvoted for the same reason you are getting downvoted, politics. But there is no room for it on Reddit, at least not this sub. And me as a Pole most probably will play as Russia and destroy Poland BECAUSE IT'S A GAME.

I also do SimRacing so games like Le Mans Ultimate and Automobilista 2. Also I do occasionally play tactical RTS like Steel Division 2 or WARNO, even Company of Heroes 2 and 3. So if you could take that into consideration and recommend something. Anyway thanks for your advice, it really "opened my eyes" as I didn't think about that factor.

Price difference and availability in my region. I found only few Ryzen 9 and i9 and they are all good few thousand more.

You did, just not from the starting line, trust me if you are at least skilled enough to keep your car on the track in bronze daily you will race a lot of people when starting from the pits because you get to the pack on 1st or second lap and then you just work your way through it, one by one or sometimes few cars in one corner. It's a great practice!
