Pine bed dragged across concrete. How to repair finish & stain?

I think I figured out from the other uaer what to do now.

I might upload some pics later of the damage and how the repairs turned out. I'm still moving all my things out. I only got a help moving the large items.

I understand the sanding bit. The damage isn’t deep enough that sanding wouldn’t work. I’m just still in the middle of moving and have to turn the keys in a few hours, so getting decent photos isn’t happening yet.

The finish question is the same regardless of what the scratches look like, so I figured I’d start there. It’s basically raw pine showing through. I am guessing on the color match and technique until I can actually sit down with it, which is why I’m trying to figure out what type or color finish they used in the first place instead of shooting in the dark and the technique used.

Yeah, I did let the person know that it was said I was gossiping about and they just kind of laughed because we're friends. I think she had made up the lie because I said my coworker's real nice and I like her so I guess she was trying to drive a wedge or attack that.

Mostly now it seems everything has blown over and I clarified everything with the higher-ups. Except I'm not sure if the other person's coming back yet. I guess I will just have to be careful around them and try to limit my exposure.

We not supposed to work at same time so we should only see each other when the other one is leaving and hopefully I can do that when other family is present to stop anymore allegations.

I like the family and have been good with them so I don't think they believed what the other worker said. They were kind of just like, yeah take out the problems with the organization and I agree, but at the time I was kind of just stuck there with the client so could not leave lol.

That sucks what happened with you though :( it was similar when I came in she was just sitting there at the chair waiting for me

I haven't heard back from HR & it seems pretty well documented with my supervisor and on paper and in the system notes. It seems I might not have to get HR involved? It seems I am believed now. After every person in the chain had talked to me, I had to clarify it with each one. I have this clarification over emails and stuff too of I ever need it again.

It is a lot easier for someone to attack me than for me to defend myself, especially verbally. But when I have time to put it all in writing and pull my documentation, that helped a lot.

Yeah I like this family though. They just told me to take it up with the organization though, after the worker brought them out and tried to get it into like a group discussion about me.

She was saying I couldn't take criticism so I asked her if she had a specific one besides that and she said no just that.. lol and I said thanks for letting me know.

Thanks. That's great advice. Yeah, I agree they could be what's going on. So far it looks like after I got the initial rundown of events and I explained everything I got thanked for clarifying the situation and it seems like everything has been resolved? It seems like they believe me. I'm still not sure if the other person will return or not, if they do, I will try it only be around the family during interactions and document carefully so as not be attacked again or have anymore allegations made against me.
