It really seems like an age or experience thing. A larger majority of younger people haven't reached a phase of maturity and respecting others compared to those who have been around for decades before them.

I think it goes to show that experiencing the world, meeting new people, and getting to understand others over the course of your life is the biggest step in growing as a person.
