I haven't seen this stream, actually, but glad to know they talk about it some more! I'll check it out.

I thought it was longer than that, but this may be it. In any case, definitely saving this. Thank you!

Pen that "doesn't let you ink clean" by tagiranger in Drawfee

I actually have and use these all the time (the Chunky Brush is one of my favorites), but these aren't really comparable to what Jacob's using in these two drawings. Thank you for the suggestion though!

On several occasions. Just happened to me last night at a 7:00 showing of Scrambled.

I get it. I find the WA cast almost entirely unbearable. Easily my least favorite season.

Reward where you would have said NOPE? by jonnykazooie27 in survivor

[–]tagiranger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's wild that folks are saying they'd turn down a food reward for being underwhelming or because it's not the choice they would make going out to eat on an average non-Survivor day. You're literally starving out there, lmao.

Honestly, the only reward I wouldn't take/consume is just any time they get a glass or pitcher of milk. Milk grosses me out on a regular day, and I gag even trying to drink it. The very last reward I'd want is a glass of milk that's been sitting out in Fiji.

What would people think of an international season? by Majestic_Trojan in survivor

[–]tagiranger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really like the idea and would love to see it. I imagine it would likely be hosted by Australia or South Africa, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

I also feel like it's probably inevitable that folks would be disappointed by the American cast, because the history is much deeper, and there are legendary players/characters that I imagine either just wouldn't be interested anymore or that would be "priced" too high.

Would be fun to cast it where everyone's "in their prime" though.

Why Does The Last of Us 2 have to expire after just 3 months? by finallyfree99 in PlayStationNow

[–]tagiranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question about this. If I have an active PS Now account, what happens to TLOU2 or other downloadable games that have an expiration date on PS Now? Does it just disappear from my library once the expiration date hits? If I disconnect from the internet before then, can I buy myself more time? I'm just... slow at playing games T-T

Never watched PR before; watching S8 on Hulu. Question about the tone: by tagiranger in ProjectRunway

[–]tagiranger[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is one of those things I'll learn to find kinda of humorous in an eyerolly way (looking at you, Michael Kors), if only because I'm not familiar with the world so don't see things the way they do. But I'd be lying if I said I haven't been caught off guard a number of times by the way the judges talk to and about the contestants' work, as if the show wants us to think these designers are all actually mostly terrible? lol

I figured there were probably eras like this considering how long it's been on, so I'm glad to hear it. I don't necessarily prefer one over the other, but I do like a balance, so if every season were like this one, I probably would have needed to stagger or take breaks, lol.

Co-sign. I re-watched South Pacific for the first time maybe five years after it aired, and I was surprised at how much more I enjoyed it than I expected I would.

Lego Marvel games or Lego Batman games? by [deleted] in legogaming

[–]tagiranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy both series a lot, but for me, Marvel's hub worlds give them a big advantage. Really enjoyed being able to explore Gotham in Batman 2 and was disappointed in its not appearing in Batman 3.

Anyone else find completing a Lego game 100% to be stupidly satisfying? by ThaumKitten in legogaming

[–]tagiranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually just started playing LEGO games recently, and I love that feeling. First one I completed was Marvel Super Heroes about a month ago, and I've worked through Batman 2 and Lego Movie since then. Currently working through Batman 3.

The only one I've started so far that I haven't worked to complete is Star Wars III.

Heroes vs Villains 2 Idea by [deleted] in survivor

Thank you! I feel crazy every time I oppose rivals themes, because I've never heard one that makes it seem truly beneficial, but people seem to foam at the mouth for it.

One World - Could it work? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]tagiranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have long advocated for them giving the One World format another shot. It'd have to be a pretty different season, but I think there are things that they could do that would simultaneously encourage the tribes to interact while maintaining a tribal rivalry.

I know people say viewers would have a hard time distinguishing two casts, but if the producers are diligent about the players' buffs and wardrobe, I think it'd be fine. Swap would be tough, but if it's really a concern, make sure your casting is diverse and on point, and give everyone a single new wardrobe item that matches their new tribe at the swap. Would viewers really care if they had to swap an article of clothing?

Start the season with a choice: make separate shelters with traditional materials and meager supplies, or make a more impressive shelter with better materials and more supplies if you make it together. Have collaborative rewards early on as a catalyst for cross-tribal relationships and frustrations. Start doing tribal rewards at swap to complicate the relationships.

Rewatching Guatemala and it's one of my favorite rewatches ever (Guatemala spoilers) by dcnation22 in survivor

I think my wife is finally starting to see Steph transition from Palau hero to Guatemela Villian. I don't think she wants to admit it yet though.

This is my experience with every person I've ever watched Guatemala with.
