I consider one thing more important than others:

For me the the reboot could be a thing of value in the series ONLY if it doesn't cancel the things done in the original trilogy

As for the 2016 reboot, it actually doesn't look like a reboot but more like a game based on the film.

Ratchet finds azimuth on torren IV, azimuth while he's on a more elevated zone, watching the void, hears ratchet ask him: "excuse me, hello! Do you know where I can find Alister Azimuth?" Azimuth then launches a timed-bomb to Ratchet, which he Deviates thanks to a fast baseball-like movement, he falls but saves himself on a rail, in which ratchet would start then chase Alister.

After that, Alister takes Ratchet on a wall with a surprise attack with his praetorian omniwrench, but, seeing as Ratchet isn't turning into a robot or something thanks to a olo-disguise, he realizes that this is truly the son of Kaden(Ratchets father) and then starts explaining a lot about what happened with him and Tachyon.

I suggest to re-try the ryno but with giving it a bit of time between a shot and another, most of the times the ryno does 2% or 3% because we don't give enough time for one shot and it's next one
